A Lab Management Plan
1.0 Abstract
Information
Technology (IT) is expanding quickly and occurs almost everywhere at homes,
schools and offices. English language has become indispensable tool for
education therefore, the Ministry of Education and Youth is always planning to
upgrade curricula based on modern technology and establish student-centered
education, which is differing from traditional education. To achieve this goal we need to train
teachers on how to use the new technology and provide a budget to equip a
school with the required hardware and software (Arbab Par.1,2,4). As IT staff, I propose to Al Noor Primary
School to design an computer lab that fit for 20 students and include all basic
hardware and software that is suitable the school’s need (See Appendix A for
Computer Lab Layout). This report
covers also method to integrate technology with English curriculum and organize
professional development (PD) for the school staff and teachers and finally
conclude with some recommendations.
