Warrantless home searches

by officials, without one they can not come into your home unless given consent
or the officers are trying to apprehend a felon that flees into your home. If
neither of these is evident, officials must present evidence of probable cause
of an illegal act to obtain a warrant from a magistrate. When given a warrant,
the officers may enter the home and conduct a search of the specific illegal
act the person or people were believed to be committing inside the home. Entry
of a home without a warrant is prohibited under the Fourth Amendment.
