Paper Abstract
This 13 page paper examines the pros and cons of transracial adoption, specifically relating to African Americans and Hispanics. Furthermore, this paper examines the opposition of groups such as the National Black Social Workers who believe that such adoptions represent genocide of the balck race. Statistics are included in this report to illustrate the numbers of transracial adoptions, the number of minorities in foster care, etc. This paper takes an overall positive view of transracial adoption in its representation of both sides of the issue.
