Paper Abstract
A 15 page essay in which the writer makes comparisons between the important invention of trains and that of computers. It is argued that both of these creations contributed to radical change in society even though the two could not be any more dissimilar in terms of their technological properties. A number of other good, comparative points are made. Several sources listed in bibliography.
