Abstract
Sam Walton, a leader in a modern perspective, started
his own company and made it the leader in the discount retailing is now a days.
With his intelligence, and sometimes unusual, business practices, he and his
connective tissue under the direction of the Company for thirty years. Now,
four years after his death, the company is still growing steadily. Wal-Mart
Executives will continue to rely on many of the traditional goals and
philosophies that Sam's legacy left behind, while simultaneously keeping a step
ahead of still-changing technology and procedures the day of this rapidly
changing business environment. The organization has faced and continues to
suffer, a significant amount of friction in a number of different topics, but
none of these have done much more than the pispis outside this huge operation.
The future looked too smart for Wal-Mart, especially if they are able to
provide a comfortable balance between increasing their income and recognizes
its social and ethical responsibility.
