Decision making if both an art and a science and cannot be
avoided where responsibility is concerned.Â
Team decision-making is more complex and time consuming than individual
decision making, meaning that it makes sense to prepare for it properly. Using
team input is challenging, and it takes a fair amount of preparation and
time. As the saying goes, if you put
three people together in a room, you will often get four opinions. People can often see issues differently and
they all have different experiences, values, personalities, styles and needs.
