Abstract
Several cases of internet fraud are prevalent in the
societies. The issue cuts across countries in the world. The rate of its
spreading is causing a nightmare to governments and individuals, particularly
those that labouredÂ
to ensure the introduction of information and Telecommunication
Technology. The issue is fast usurping the dividends of Information and
Telecommunication Technology. In this article, the issue of internet fraud was
discussed, from the perspectives of its types, causes and solutions.
