Holiday had a fine morning with a perfect serene clear sky and a lustrous sun
shine. Though the exact magnitude of earthquake are not known, but estimated to
be 8.5 to 9.0 on Richter scale with the epicenter as per literature being 38.0°N,
9.0°W in the Atlantic Ocean about 200 km west-southwest of Cape St. Vincent.
