Something Must be Done
One hundred and thirteen pounds
overweight at the age of nine, Jane cries herself to sleep every night, that
is, of course only when she can breathe enough to do so. Is it her fault she is
overweight? Is it too late to go back? Who should get involved? Our Californian
children should not have to suffer like this. The amount of childhood obesity
cases can easily be reduced and children will be more likely to make healthier
choices with one thing, government intervention.
