There are many topics
in business that need to be improved on or resolved in some way. Organizations
may do things that are not ethical such as using a product that is potentially
dangerous because it is cheaper or overlooking employees that are using the internet
at work for things not pertaining to their job. These kinds of things need to
be changed. One topic that is very important, at least in my mind, is
discrimination in the workplace. Though there are many acts such as the
American’s with Disabilities Act, Civil Rights Act, Disability Discrimination
Act and the Equal Employment Opportunity Act, discrimination continues to
happen in employment situations and it starts with the interviewing and hiring
processes.
