A New Age for Women
A large change has come over the idea of sex in
the last century. In the past, men have
always been the more sexual gender. With
magazines like Playboy, Hustler, and Penthouse for sale on shelves
everywhere, society has obviously pronounced it acceptable for men to pride
themselves on their sexuality. Playboy, first published in December of
1953, showed nude centerfolds of women and had articles for men to read about
how to please a woman sexually. It was
easy for a woman to settle into the idea that sex was something for men to
enjoy and a woman that was as sexual as a man was quickly frowned upon.Â
