Paper Abstract
12 pages in length. Canada, like virtually every other global society, must grapple with a growing population of homeless people. While this has been a long-standing social issue for Canadians, it has quite recently escalated at such an alarming rate that government officials are being asked to answer for this present upsurge. The general consensus between and among economists seems to squarely place the blame on significant cuts to Canada's governmental spending, with a number of specific factors each working synergistically together in order to worsen the situation that much more.
