Paper Abstract
A 10 page paper examining factors relating to establishing a day spa on Corfu Island, in Corfu Town. Located off the east coast of Greece in the Ionian Sea, Corfu Island is one of the islands of the Greek archipelago and is the site chosen for the day spa expansion. Corfu Island is a tourist location favored by both Greek and international visitors. It has a permanent population of 100,000; the capital city of Corfu Town has a population of 30,000. There are many hotels in this popular tourist destination, and the spa will seek to create alliance relationships with those not already offering spa services. The paper provides a PEST analysis and examines the local area and the nation for their suitability for a new day spa business based in the United States. Bibliography lists 7 sources.
