provider of low-cost mortgage services, located in five states: Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota,
and South Dakota. Several demographics are targeted, such as
professionals seeking to purchase a primary or secondary residence, retirees
seeking to do the same, and families or individuals seeking to purchase a
recreational property.
           All businesses, at some point, will
have to tackle the issue of discrimination.Â
Business owners and managers must always remain vigilant against illegal
and unethical forms of discrimination.Â
As with all lending institutions, McBride does legally and ethically
practice some form of discrimination; primarily in the form of creditworthiness. Since lending is risk-based by nature, care
must be taken not to accept undue amounts of risk in order to keep the business
viable.
