Paper Abstract
This 5 page paper looks at the book by Emile Durkheim called ‘Suicide : A Study in Sociology’. In this Book Durkheim identifies society as an influencing factor on suicide rates, and goes on to describe four types of suicide; egoistic suicide, altruistic suicide, anomic suicide, and fatalistic suicide.
