The Global
Environment in Peril
The global
environment is in danger of collapsing and the impact it will have on economic stability
throughout the world will be enormous. A major fluctuation in temperatures can
create social chaos and cause political machines to crumble, leaving the
infrastructure on the edge of economic disaster. Food prices and the cost of
oil have skyrocketed in the past few years because of climate change and social
instability, threatening the public’s sense of wellbeing. International
tribunals comprised of political and economic leaders must be organized and empowered
to find solutions for global warming if the population of earth is expected to
survive. The effect global warming is already having on our planet is just beginning
to get noticed and is minimal compared to what it will be like if nothing is
done to stop the devastating impact of climate change.
