Paper Abstract
A 9 page discussion of a variety of diagnostic methodologies used in assessing child behavior. Presents specific information on five such methodologies (Conners' Parent Rating Scale, Conners' Teacher Rating Scale, the use of Anecdotal Records, Adaptive Behavior Evaluation Scale and the Wechsler Intelligence Scale) and concludes that each has its limitations and drawbacks. Suggest that child specialist incorporate a variety of diagnostic methodologies to overcome these limitations and drawbacks. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
