Many nations in
the world today are plagued by poor economy, high-level unemployment,
inadequate and decay infrastructures among other indices. This can be traced to
the high level of corrupt practices of the worker. The issue of corruption is examined in this
article from the perspective of its causes and consequences. Measures such as
the education of the masses against it, proper moral upbringing of children by
parents/guardians, change of the value system in the societies among others are
suggested as ways out.
