Indeed, all throughout the novel, Garcia utilizes that particular color to represent myriad emotions and ideas, so much to the point that it becomes quite symbolic in nature. The writer discusses that when attempting to assess the use of the color blue, one must be able to see beyond the basic meaning and delve deeper to uncover the underlying poignancy.
