Causation of Crime Collaboration Activity
   Â
         The crime trend I have chosen is Social Theories;
this is the theory of crime being committed due to their social environments
economic state. The New York area’s crime rate is consistent with the theory
that areas that are poverty stricken have a higher crime rate. In 2007 there
were 11,689 violent crimes committed in the Bronx’s of New York alone. Out of
the 11,689 violent crimes committed there were 181 Rapes, 4,613 Robberies, and 130
Murders. The overall crime rate is down 4% for the year but the theft statics
are on the rise due to the current economic state proving again that a
individuals economic state has a impact on the crime rates….
