Assignment One
Case Analysis:
This paper is an analysis of a case study on young children seen through the strand “contribution” in the document Te Whariki, Ministry of Education (MOE) 1996. Appropriate early years curriculum including belonging, exploration, communication and identity. Contribution in the case study will be related to theoretical and philosophical underpinnings of the holistic approach in early years curriculum. Professional knowledge needed to understand the complexity of evaluating appropriate curriculum is illustrated through the empowerment and relationships that are developed.
