Paper Abstract
This 7 page paper provides an overview of these two works, Aeschylus' Oresteia and Hofmannsthal 's Elektra, and supports the thesis that women have been stereotyped by authors. Freud’s theories are discussed in light of the plot. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
